Turn, Learn & Pray

How can we turn our lives every day in the direction of God's love?

How can we learn from the Word of God and spend time in prayer each day?

Opportunities to Turn & Learn

First & Third Sundays at our 10:30 AM Service

Godly Play

Spiritual formation that uses storytelling, tactile materials, and "wondering" questions to help children explore faith and the mystery of God's presence. Children begin in church, are escorted to the Godly Play room for their lesson, and return at the Peace (about halfway through the service). All of our adult Godly Play leaders have completed "Safeguarding God's Children" training offered by the Episcopal Church.

Tuesdays @ 9:00 AM

Tuesday Morning Fellowship

A casual gathering by Zoom every Tuesday at 9 am. We check in on one another, pray together, and discuss the life of the church. This is an opportunity to provide feedback for church activities and imagine together.

Wednesdays 11:00-12:00 PM

Bible Study

We pray for one another and go chapter by chapter through a book of the Bible, analyzing the world behind the text and the world of the text and applying it to the world in front of the text. For some seasons (Advent, Lent) we often have a seasonal study. All levels of biblical proficiency are welcome!

Prayer Requests

If you have a specific prayer request for yourself or someone else, please submit a prayer request by emailing Mother Bryn.  Names will go on our prayer list to be prayed for by members and in church on Sunday for one month. Please resubmit a request if prayers are still needed.

Prayer Garden

Our prayer garden is a peaceful and restful place for all. Enjoy the shade of the oak. Watch the pollinators (in season) at work in and around the native plants. Listen to the gentle water flowing in the fountain. Please feel welcome to come and sit a while.

Labyrinth

Walking the labyrinth is a spiritual practice used to quiet the mind and open yourself for self reflection and prayer. Unlike a maze, there is only one path. Instead of decision after decision, a person walking a labyrinth simply follows the path. It is a practice of obedience and trust as one works their way toward the center. Our labyrinth is available for pilgrims at any time.

ABOUT US

Our mission is to love God and all people, fostering an ever-deepening relationship with Christ and nurturing spiritual growth in ourselves and others through worship, fellowship, study, and service.
